About: Designing Book CoverMcDonnell, J. and Lloyd, P. (eds.) (2009) About: Designing - Analysing Design Meetings, Taylor & Francis.

About: Designing advances our understanding of design thinking through different analyses of a common set of data. Researchers from leading centres around the world were invited to analyse the material and apply their research expertise to show how analysing design meetings can increase our understanding of design as a social process. The twenty-one contributions to this book are the result of an extensive international collaboration.

Final Report

DTRS7 was being funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council. Funding for the project ran from July 2006 - June 2008 after which a report was written about the project as a whole. The report detailed how the project as a whole was run and made an assessment of the likely impact that the project will have on the design research community.
