Management Process
The workshop has been funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) which requires an explicit process of management. The workshop committee have met on average once every two months since starting the project in September 2005.
International Reviewing Committee
An international review committee drawn from the DTRS community will review papers presented at the workshop before publication of the book commences.
Funding
Funding of £30,000 has been secured from the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) for the project, running for two years from July 2006 to July 2008. Funding covers the data collection and project setup and management costs, but does not cover the cost of the workshop itself.
Publication
A number of publications will result from the workshop. At the workshop itself will be pre-prints of the papers under discussion. Following the workshop will be special issues of the journals Design Studies and CoDesign containing a selection of the best papers from the workshop. Finally an edited book will be produced bringing all the papers orignally presented at the workshop together. We have a contract with Taylor and Francis.
